RN Clinical & Operations Manager

Charlotte, NC
Full Time
Manager/Supervisor

Full-Time | Greater Charlotte Area

Most nursing jobs ask you to care for patients. We're looking for someone who wants to help build an organization.

At Touching Hearts at Home, we believe seniors deserve compassionate, relationship-centered care that allows them to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most—home. As a growing nonmedical home care agency, we're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about leadership, operations, caregiver development, and building meaningful relationships throughout our community.

This isn't a traditional field nursing position. You'll combine clinical oversight with operations leadership, caregiver coaching, quality improvement, referral relationship development, and strategic growth. Working directly alongside the Owner and Agency Director, you'll play an integral role in strengthening our agency while ensuring every client receives exceptional, compassionate care.

If you're ready to move beyond bedside nursing into a leadership role where you can mentor others, improve systems, build community partnerships, and make a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership

  • Conduct initial client assessments and develop individualized service plans
  • Perform supervisory visits to ensure quality of care, caregiver competency, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance
  • Train, mentor, and coach caregivers on care plans, dementia care, safety, infection prevention, and best practices
  • Monitor client well-being and communicate concerns with families, physicians, and community partners as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support ongoing quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Operations Leadership

  • Partner with the office team to support scheduling, staffing, and continuity of care
  • Help resolve client and caregiver concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
  • Improve workflows, strengthen operational processes, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • Participate in the agency's rotating leadership on-call schedule
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives that support agency growth and operational excellence

Community & Business Development

  • Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, hospice providers, home health agencies, physicians, case managers, and other referral partners
  • Represent Touching Hearts at Home through networking events, educational in-services, and community outreach
  • Partner with leadership to grow referrals while reinforcing our reputation for exceptional service, responsiveness, and compassionate care

What We're Looking For

  • Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Passion for serving older adults and supporting families
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable making independent decisions
  • Experience in home care, hospice, geriatrics, case management, or community-based nursing preferred
  • Interest in operations, business development, quality improvement, and organizational leadership
  • A desire to grow with a mission-driven organization and help shape its future

Why Join Touching Hearts at Home?

  • Full-time leadership role with flexibility and autonomy
  • Direct collaboration and mentorship from the Owner and Agency Director
  • Opportunity to influence clinical quality, operations, and the future direction of the agency
  • Meaningful relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and referral partners
  • Leadership development with a path toward executive-level responsibility as the organization grows
  • Competitive compensation, mileage reimbursement, paid training, holiday pay, referral bonuses, and ongoing professional development

This Is More Than Your Next Nursing Job

We're looking for someone who wants to help build one of the Charlotte area's most trusted home care agencies—someone who believes compassionate care, operational excellence, and strong community relationships go hand in hand.

If you're excited by the opportunity to lead, mentor, innovate, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families, we'd love to hear your story.
